This is a place on the Mendocino coast of northern California where the setting sun briefly shines through a natural tunnel and lights the breaking waves from behind. Using a telephoto lens, I stood on the nearby beach and took the photo at a shutter speed of 1/800 of a second stop the motion. The orange color in the water is from the color of the sunlight as the sun neared the horizon.
