Strand of Dewdrops

One June morning on the Mendocino Headlands I saw a dewy strand of spider web in a rose bush that showed the flowers through each drop and looked like a beautiful necklace. Because of a breeze and poor light I couldn’t get good pictures. By the time there was another wet foggy morning most of the rose flowers were finished. This web had perfect drops, but no flowers in the right position, so I  picked one of the remaining roses and put it behind the web where it would show through each drop.
