This place is on the coast near Santa Cruz, CA. The stone tunnel was made as a way to reroute the creek when the railroad was built, and the concrete tunnel was built later for Highway 1. Just before sunset for a few days each fall the sun sets in the right position to send a beam of light all the way through both tunnels. I took this picture in October when the stream was low enough that I was able to wade in from the beach.
