Mendocino with Thunder Clouds

These clouds were part of an unusual group of storms that passed over the area going east on June 20, 2008. Around sundown, after the danger of lightning strikes seemed past, I went out on the Mendocino Headlands and took this picture. There was still sunlight hitting the cloud tops, and since the ocean was nearly flat the reflections were beautiful. The storms went on to start over a thousand forest fires with their lightning as they drifted across California.
